Essaouira Day Trip
Essaouira Day Trip is an easy 2 :30 hour drive from Marrakesh. It might seem a little far to go and come back in one day, but it’s definitely worth it – it is difficult to resist the charms of this wonderful, friendly and relaxed small Moroccan city.
Founded in the 18th century, Essaouira was built to be a rival city to Agadir. Formerly known as Mogador, meaning windy city, it was built as a fortified town surrounded by Vauban-style ramparts. Essaouira played a major role as an international trading seaport, linking Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa with Europe and the rest of the world.
The Medina of Essaouira is one of the best maintained and calm City in Morocco.

An early pick up 7:00 from the hotel or Riad in Marrakech by an English speaking driver and travel in an exclusive licensed A/C vehicle/ 4×4. Along the way to Essaouira you will pass by the Haouz plaines to Chichaoua village where you can stop to rest stretch your legs, coffee or Tea break or visit one of the Argan cooperatives a little bit further. If you are lucky you may encounter goats climbing Argan trees in the last 60 km to reach Essaouira.
Once you in Essaouira you will get to wander in the city at your own pace and visit many of Essaouira’s highlights , Markets ( souks ) , Art galleries Thuja woodworkers , Jewish district , Essauira port , Enjoy Sea fresh food .
